We met when we were still two kids. I was just eleven and he was only 13 years old. It seemed to be a summer love of two innocent young lovers. Nobody would have bet on us.
I am now writing after 25 years of love, a marriage and two children. At first, it was just the two of us and now we are a beautiful family with two gorgeous children. We used to have butterflies in our stomach. Now those butterflies turned into something even more wonderful. They turned into respect for each other, into the impossibility of living our life without the other half.
Love is not static, love is always transforming, but it envolves in something even more beautiful every day. After all these years we are still staring at each other like we are about to kiss. There’s something magic in the air when we are together. We are witnesses that love really exists and can last forever.

Why should I send a physical item?
You can submit your love story without mailing us your item, thats totally fine. The idea behind the Museum of Lovestories is though, to create a place where love becomes visible. Therefore we ask you to send us an item that connects you with your special love story. In the Museum your love story will be exhibited together with the item you sent us.
Which kind of item shall I send?
It does not matter which object you will send us or how precious it is. It just needs to be an object that is yours and connects you to your love story. So, it can be for example a necklace, a dress, a picture, an old love letter, a plushie… However, there are (almost) no limits.
