Losing your better half after 48 years spent together makes you believe that there is no life after that. It is like there’s no morning and no evening, no sun and no stars. No melody. All these things were my wife for me. And if it does happen and you’re over 70 then you lose the belief that something could ever change again.
But then I met you. And there was another morning and evening. The sun has been rising again and the stars have been shining in the night. And even if it is a different morning and evening, even though there is another sun shining and other stars are illuminating the night, you have brought them back into my life and the melody in my heart.
